Currently, there's no binary available for the armhf architecture (i.e. the one used by Raspberrian). It's quite simple to get the source code and compile it.

This is likelly already intalled, just a precaution

apt-get install libftdi1

Set-up the key

wget http://download.telldus.se/debian/telldus-public.key
apt-key add telldus-public.key
sudo apt-get update

Install build-essentials

sudo apt-get install build-essential

Add the source locations

sudo cat > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/telldus.list <<EOF
deb http://download.telldus.com/debian/ stable main
deb-src http://download.telldus.com/debian/ stable main
sudo apt-get update

Install packages

sudo apt-get build-dep telldus-core
sudo apt-get install cmake
sudo apt-get install libconfuse-dev
sudo apt-get install libftdi-dev
sudo apt-get install help2man

Create a temp dir

mkdir -p ~/telldus-tmp
cd ~/telldus-tmp

Download the source code and start the compiler

apt-get --compile source telldus-core

Install packages

sudo dpkg --install *.deb

Delete the source code and compiled programs

cd ..
rm -rf ~/telldus-temp

If you get a syslog message saying the group plugdev is missing, remove the user and group entries from tellstick.conf
