Zwave supported devices

This page lists all supported devices by agocontrol and explains how to tweak them.

Smoke sensors

Inclusion

  1. Put your zwave controller in inclusion mode
  2. On the SF812 press 3 times within 1.5s the "link" button
  3. SF812 status led should flash after inclusion is complete

Exclusion

  1. Put your zwave controller in exclusion mode
  2. On the SF812 press 3 times within 1.5s the "link" button
  3. SF812 status led should blink 2 seconds, then stop during 2 seconds...

Wakeup

  1. Press 3 times within 1.5s the "link" button and device should stays on during 10 minutes

Troubleshoot

  • Unable to include it to my network

If you can't include SF812 in your network, try to exclude it first.

  • The device is recognize in agocontrol but has "no name"

The SF812 stays a while in sleeping mode to save battery. To get all device informations in agocontrol, see wakeup section above. After a page refresh, you should see all device informations filled correctly.

Inclusion

Note: inclusion must be done in the power mode (USB/battery) you intend to use the device in. If you change power mode, you must include it again [1].

  1. Put your zwave controller in inclusion mode
  2. Press 1 time the zwave button on device
  3. Device status led should stays on during sometime if inclusion succeed

  1. Press 3 times quickly the zwave button and the device should stays on during 10 minutes

Troubleshoot

  • The device is recognize in agocontrol but has "no name"

Just wakeup the device, see wakeup section above.

  • If changing between battery and USB operation, inclusion has to be re-made.

Configuration

By default only motion sensors is activated on this device. To enable other sensors you need to configure it in device details page:

  • All-in-one solution: in configuration tab, set "Group1 reports" value to 225. It activate all sensors (brightness[128] + humdity[64] + temperature[32] + battery[1] = 225 (decimal))
  • You can set individually groups to report specific sensor values: ie set "Group1 reports" to 128 and it will report only brightness and "Group2 reports" to 32 to report temperature.

  2. Press 1 time the device button twice (first press to disable NWI mode and second one to activate inclusion mode)
  3. Device leds will flash several times when inclusion is done

  3. Device leds will flash several times when exclusion is done

Configuration

User can activate separately strobe lights and siren or both:

  • set device value to 1-33 will activate only strobe lights
  • set device value to 34-66 will activate only the siren
  • set device value to 67-99 or 255 will activate strobe lights and siren
